Getting the Best Wash Every Time

Great results start before you even load the machine. At Express Laundromat in Parsippany, our high-capacity washers do most of the heavy lifting, but a few simple habits make every load come out cleaner, brighter, and fresher.

Don’t overload the drum

Clothes need room to move so detergent and water can circulate. Fill the drum about three-quarters full and leave a hand’s width of space at the top. With 40 machines on site, you’ll rarely need to wait, so spread larger loads across two washers instead of cramming everything into one.

Measure your detergent

More soap does not mean cleaner clothes. Too much detergent leaves residue that dulls fabric and irritates skin. Use the line on the cap as your guide, and pick the right water temperature: cold for darks and delicates, warm for everyday loads, and hot for towels and bedding.
